The Field Activity Support Team (FAST) Team Member is responsible for traveling to stores within an assigned district to execute various tasks such as planograms, merchandise and fixture assembly, and signage maintenance. The FAST Team Member interacts with customers and Team Members to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience.

As a FAST Team Member, you should be available, flexible, adaptable, and service-oriented.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining regular and predictable attendance.
• Working scheduled shifts, including varied hours, days, nights, and overtime as needed.
• Proactively communicating with your District FAST Supervisor about work progress and issues.
• Completing planograms and resets accurately and promptly.
• Performing store measurements and cycle counts.
• Completing the Tractor Way top cap process and hanging store signage.
• Assembling merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs.
• Reviewing planogram integrity and recovery procedures.
• Delivering Legendary Customer Service following GURA principles:
• Greet customers
• Identify customer needs and wants
• Recommend product solutions
• Ask for added value and show appreciation
• Ensuring a memorable shopping experience that sets us apart from competitors.
• Providing peak coverage during special periods (e.g., Day After Thanksgiving).
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Experience:

Prior retail or merchandising experience required; farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge preferred. Must be 18+ years old with a valid driver’s license.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, write, and count is essential.

• Knowledge of farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is highly preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ethical issue resolution.
• Self-directed with minimal supervision required.

• Primarily indoor work with moderate noise levels.
• Shifts typically range from 4 to over 8 hours, varying by store.
• Travel between store locations using personal vehicle, often for extended periods.
• Maintain a safe, productive environment and adhere to safety guidelines.
• Work on hard surfaces in indoor and outdoor settings with adequate lighting and temperature.

• Travel as needed within the district.
• Push/pull merchandise up to 2,000 pounds with proper equipment.
• Lifting or reaching overhead occasionally.
• Frequent standing, kneeling, twisting, crouching, bending, and climbing ladders.
• Access all store areas safely.
• Operate store equipment and complete documentation accurately.
• Handle poultry and other animals safely.
• Complete training requirements.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts if age-appropriate.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds, driving, standing, walking, reaching overhead, and moving merchandise throughout the store.
• Maintain physical and mental stamina for dynamic store activities.
