JOB OVERVIEW
As a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase organization, time management, and retailer relationships while being the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations as needed. On occasion you may also work with products from other companies in the stores you service.
SALARY AND SCHEDULE DETAILS- Your starting pay will be $15.00-$16.00 depending on skills and experience.
- Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
- This is a Part-Time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
- Average weekly hours are between 8-12 hours per week.
- Availability the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You will perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores such as grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass retailers. The position consists of three major components:
This job requires a high level of energy and urgency. You will work on the selling floor and in back stockrooms. Push, pull, lift, and carry cartons and display fixtures up to 30 pounds continuously and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Kneel, squat, walk, stand throughout the day, climb stairs, and step ladders.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- At least 18 years of age.
- Read, write, and understand English.
- Capable of lifting and carrying products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Operate a digital handheld device to read documents and interpret information.
- Access to Wi‑Fi and the internet.
- Consistent transportation to travel between assigned stores.
Part-time employees with a schedule of less than 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits including dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and minimum essential coverage (preventive care).
