Retail Customer Service Cashier

Overview

Retail Customer Service Cashier for Love's Travel Stops. Our cashiers work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean places while having friendly faces. They provide fast, friendly, and accurate services for customers. They may perform various duties depending on business needs, so flexibility and teamwork are important. No experience? We will teach you!

• General customer service duties including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities while following all state and local laws.
• Using a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of fresh food and deli products.
• Cleaning the direct working area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures.

• Customer service or retail experience preferred but not required; willingness to learn.
• Ability to operate a cash register and use point-of-sale systems.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to move, lift 25+ pounds; ability to work in various temperatures.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
