Bartender

Overview

Brookside Country Club in Macungie, PA is looking for friendly, knowledgeable, service-oriented restaurant bartenders with a passion for hospitality to join our team. Bartenders are responsible for selling and serving food and beverages using their knowledge, hospitality, and service skills. A knowledge of wines, liquor, and cocktails is a plus.

• Efficient communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and work in a very busy environment
• Flexible schedule with full availability on nights, weekends and holidays
• Familiarity with Jonas POS is a plus, but not required
• Must be able to lift items weighing between 5-50lbs
• Must be able to stand on your feet for 4 hours + during a shift
• Ability to work outdoors in the summer months, without any immediate issues to heat

• Full table service including menu suggestions, upselling, delivery of food, and check settlement
• Maintain bar, dining room, and kitchen working areas
• Taking orders
• Delivering food
• Serving alcohol
• Busing, cleaning, and resetting tables
• Opening and closing side work
• Additional responsibilities as needed by request of the Bar Supervisor, Director of Food & Beverage, Catering Manager, General Manager or Executive Chef

Full-time, Part Time

Fine dining restaurant, Banquet Events

• Tuesday - Sunday
• Availability to work Monday Golf Outings if required

• Starting at $6.25 per hour, higher based on experience.
• Service Charge from tickets paid out in tips, in bi-weekly paychecks

• Country Club / Restaurant experience: 1 year (Preferred)
