• Adhere to guest service requirement listed above.
• Responsible for maintaining assigned area and backing up the bartender to assure guest service (This may include seasonal upkeep of Beer Garden).
• Responsible for bartender breaks when needed;
  Maintains a well‑stocked and fully prepared bar and stocking functions for the dry goods (including back stock at self‑serve areas).
• Responsible for beverage rotation in coolers (FIFO);
  Maintains the cleanliness and organization of assigned area.
• Maintains a well‑stocked and fully prepared bar and stocking functions for the dry goods and liquor rooms.
• Maintains the cleanliness and organization of assigned area.
• Performs routine cleaning and day‑to‑day maintenance of all bar equipment.
• Performs routine bi‑weekly deep cleaning of bar and bar equipment.
• Requires a working knowledge of various cleaning supplies and chemicals, including safe handling, storage, and usage requirements.
• Become knowledgeable of all drink recipes and proper glass to use for each drink.
• Always conduct yourself in a manner that reflects a positive, professional image for Ameristar Casino Black Hawk.
• Practice and observe safety rules and regulations and encourage others to do so.
• Keep the bar completely stocked for the next shift.
• Must learn to act without supervisor but informing the bartender on duty of any problems.
• Become knowledgeable of the operation of the cash and comp procedures, blenders, strainers, coffee makers, glass washers and coolers.
• Have and keep updated all current work cards: TIPS Training.
• Responsible for learning the operation of liquor, soda, and juice guns.
• Responsible for trash and cardboard disposal and working knowledge of the bailer.
• Responsible for Keg upkeep and changes.

• Able to communicate sufficiently with co‑workers and supervisors.
• Must be able to handle a flexible schedule.
• Customer service skills.
• Able to lift fifty (50) pounds.
• Experience in bar environment preferred.
• Must be able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
