The University of Bucharest is launching a competition to fill a research assistant position (COR code 263416) at the ICUB center for the project "EEG micro states as biomarkers of cognitive defusion in parents of children with developmental disabilities."

Education Level Master Degree or equivalent
Skills/Qualifications- Completed bachelor's degree in psychology, neuroscience, or related fields (e.g., philosophy)
- PhD candidate in psychology, neuroscience, or related fields (e.g., philosophy)
- Knowledge of research methodology in the social sciences and humanities
- Communication and interaction skills with studio participants
- Availability to travel to the CINETic Laboratory (UNATC Bucharest) for EEG sessions
- Knowledge of EEG processing, Cartool software, Matlab, Python
- Scheduling participants for EEG sessions
- Participating in EEG recording sessions in the CINETic Laboratory: preparing participants, setting up equipment, monitoring recordings
- Pre-processing EEG data: filtering, segmentation, artifact detection and removal, applying independent component analysis (ICA)
- Contributing to EEG data analysis
- Maintaining communication with participants throughout the study
- Complying with ethical and personal data protection protocols
- ROMANIAN – Level Mother Tongue
