TE Connectivity's Quality Control and Reliability Teams ensure product and/or product components comply with specifications and quality standards. They test and inspect products against performance and integrity criteria to ensure product quality and reliability, and to determine the suitability of product release. This position works a 1st shift schedule.
Job Duties- Perform all tasks in a safe manner.
- Report to work as scheduled.
- Follow all company policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Perform all in-process and finished product testing as required by specification or as assigned by management.
- Complete Audits at all levels:
Dock audits and process audits. - Scan in raw material certificates into database.
- Calibrate the X-rays as needed.
- Initiate NMRs and participate in product disposition for nonconforming material.
- Actively participate in safety, product, and compliance audits.
- Need Organize, Store, Sort and Archive Quality Inspection Plans (QIP’s)
- Support / backup incoming inspection and gage calibration.
- Ensuring the products and the components comply with the specifications and assuring the proper inspection techniques are applied to products as per product drawings, procedures, and test specifications.
- Supporting the performing and training of inspection certification and assisting the operators to be aware of customer specifications and product requirements.
- Scheduling respective meetings with the inspection supervisors, assisting with various sampling and SPC techniques, and ensuring high‑quality work performance.
- Using test equipment and other measurement tools for the inspection and documenting inspection outcomes completing detailed reports and records.
- Demonstrates effective collaboration skills, working cohesively with other plant employees or external groups to accomplish required objectives and goals.
- Proficient in utilizing various measuring tools, including but not limited to: microscope, micrometer, caliper, tool scope, and scales.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access for documentation and data management purposes.
- Capable of identifying key plant issues, analyzing data, collaborating with others to develop viable solutions, presenting and advocating for solutions, and implementing them effectively.
- Education requirement:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) - Ability to comprehend and apply information from documents such as policies, procedures, drawings, and other relevant materials.
- Proficient in verbal and written communication to exchange information necessary for completing essential duties and responsibilities.
- Competent in interpreting dimensional requirements on drawings and specifications.
- Work Experience requirement:
Six months to 1‑year related experience and/or training. - Familiarity with commonly accepted standard lab testing concepts, practices, and procedures.

Compensation- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $38,400 – 57,600 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
