Quality Control Administrator

Focuses on the administrative and reporting aspects of the company's quality assurance program, including managing records, analyzing data, and dispositioning quality issues under supervision. Is also hands‑on and assists the Quality Manager with implementing new QA systems, internal and external audits, record‑keeping, and training programs to ensure company products and services meet established quality standards and regulations. Can assist with performing Quality Control testing and inspections to prevent defects and ensure customer satisfaction.

• Maintains the administrative infrastructure and output of the Quality department
• Controls and updates records and documentation within the company's QMS, including the Quality Manual
• Collects and analyzes data to report on Quality key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics
• Coordinates and participates in external audits
• Conducts internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations
• Collaborates with the Materials department regarding supplier RMAs and scorecards
• Receives, documents, and assists with the investigation of and response to customer complaints and internal quality issues, preventing recurrences
• Conducts physical tests and detailed quality control inspections of products and processes to identify defects and ensure they meet quality specifications and all applicable regulations
• Observes production processes to generate work procedures and to monitor established processes for consistency and adherence to quality guidelines
• Maintains thorough records of quality standards, inspection results, and issues encountered
• Identifies, documents, and reports quality issues to management teams for resolution

• Actively participates on the company's safety committee
• Helps develop and implement new quality assurance processes and systems as needed

Salary: $27 - $32 per hour
