We are looking for a professional and experienced QA Manager to join our growing Technical team. As a QA Manager you will effectively manage the QA team whilst supporting both the Operational and Technical functions.
Key responsibilities as a QA Manager will be to:- Lead and manage a QA team to ensure strong performance and engagement.
- Support to continually improve the site Quality Management System (QMS).
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, legal, and customer standards.
- Provide daily QA support to operations on the factory floor.
- Oversee and verify CCP checks and production procedures.
- Support in the delivery of internal audits (GMP, hygiene, traceability, etc.) and ensure timely close‑out.
- Prepare for and support in customer, BRCGS, and third‑party audits.
- Manage quality incidents, non‑conformances, and root cause investigations.
- Control product holds, releases, rework, and associated documentation.
- Support in the investigation of customer complaints, driving corrective actions.
- Analyse quality data and trends to support continuous improvement.
- Promote a strong food safety and quality culture across all departments.
- Support HACCP reviews and ensure prerequisite programmes are effectively maintained.
- Have the ability to liaise with the site management teams.
- Have experience in HACCP and quality management systems.
- Ensure effective lines of communication are in place within the Technical Department.
- Pro‑actively engage the Technical Management team with ideas for development.
- To have a food related degree or equivalent and to have experience in food processing.
