Summary

We are looking for a Test Publishing Quality Assurance (TPQA) role to join our team. Our custom teacher licensure testing programs are aligned to state and national standards. We also provide a wide variety of teacher licensure testing services such as test development, administration, and scoring. We work in a collaborative environment and are passionate about education.

The Test Publishing Quality Assurance (TPQA) role

The Test Publishing Quality Assurance (TPQA) role is on the staff of the Test Construction and Publishing (TCP) group. This individual works as a member of the TCP group with other Quality Assurance staff, Test Publishers, and team leaders to produce content rich databases that support computer-based tests. In this role, you’ll apply your proven skills of quality control to a wide range of materials.

You’ll support multiple projects simultaneously to meet client-driven deadlines in our collaborative environment.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Ensures accuracy of the content as it is handled throughout the materials production process
  • Performs various quality control checks, such as item accounting and item formatting
  • Performs various technical checks including cross referencing documentation to the functionality and navigation of the computer-based exam and the results files
  • Maintains accurate, up-to-date work plans and tracking logs; provides status to management
  • Works collaboratively with associates to meet client driven deadlines
Skills and Qualifications

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with proven quality control skills, and in addition:

  • Superior attention to detail
  • Strong planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft systems/software (Outlook, Word, Excel), PDF software, file management, and computer/internet-based navigation; ability to master new technology
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
  • Experience with collaborative, team-based efforts
  • Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously and coordinating the efforts of others to meet shared goals
  • Bachelor's degree. Bachelor's degree in English preferred
  • Copy-editing experience is a plus but not required
  • Required to work from office in IST work hours
