The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for the testing phase of the production process to ensure that final products meet the company standards. Duties include identifying whether products are functional, reliable, and meet the end user’s expectations as defined in User Stories. The role also involves identifying and analyzing any bugs and errors found during the test phase and documenting them for review afterward.

Additional tasks include constructing and running new tests, updating existing tests, reporting results, maintaining validation procedures, collaborating with software developers to fix program issues, and working with users on system design, documentation, and maintenance.

Responsibilities
  • Create tests to identify software problems
  • Analyze bugs and errors found during tests
  • Document results of tests for the software development team
  • Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience
  • Work with the development team to enhance and improve programs
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience
  • Extensive experience in quality control preferred

    Keen attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Creative and innovative thinker
  • Diligent and meticulous
  • High regard for safety standards and quality control
  • Experience with Agile and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment methodologies
  • Experience with Azure Dev Ops, Jira, or similar issue and project tracking software
  • Team player and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
Pluses
  • Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium or similar
  • Experience with scheduling systems
  • BS or BA degree in computer science, engineering, computer information science, information technology, or a related field
