In this position, you will be responsible for delivering specialized nursing care, implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to promote the well-being and independence of individuals with developmental disabilities. Your expertise will help foster a safe, respectful, and empowering environment for those in your care.

Required Skills:

• Current Pennsylvania Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• Strong knowledge of IDD care requirements and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to assess, monitor, and document patient conditions accurately
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Adaptability to shift schedules and changing patient needs

Nice to Have

Skills:

• Experience in ICF or similar long-term care settings
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Bilingual abilities or additional language proficiency
• Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities

Preferred

Education and Experience:

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification in Pennsylvania
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar setting
• Familiarity with state and federal regulations related to IDD care

Other Requirements:

• Flexibility to orient on day shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM for five days prior to working the scheduled overnight shift (10:30 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Ability to work an 8-hour shift
• Availability to work in an overnight shift environment
• Valid licensure and certifications as required
• Must be able to successfully complete orientation and on-boarding procedures
