Job Summary
Tower Health Reading Hospital is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Emergency team.

Responsibilities:
- TheAdvanced Practitioner shall assist the Emergency Medicine physicians in evaluating and treating patients in the main Emergency Department and Pediatric Emergency Department.
- TheAdvanced Practitionerfunctions as a primary health care provider with the responsibility of managing health related problems and conditions.
- The APP serves as a clinical leader and works closely with the physicians in managing patients, administration of medication, order necessary labs or tests, prescriptions and appropriate documentation of patient charts.
- Works within specific department with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals in coordinating and delivering patient care and facilitating communication between the patient and family members, the nursing team and the medical staff functioning as a clinical expert in the area, program or department assigned.
