Registered NURSE; Rn Hour shifts

Position: REGISTERED NURSE (RN):Days (12-hour shifts)
Location: Shippensburg

Responsibilities

This opportunity is full-time, offers full benefits, and a convenient dayshift (6:30am-7:00pm) schedule and rotates every other weekend and holiday

Part-Time and PRN available: some benefits and sign-on bonus are excluded!

There is opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested.

This position also qualifies for up to a $20,000.00 sign-on bonus!

Roxbury Treatment Center, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc., has been a beacon of hope and healing for over 35 years, serving those struggling with behavioral health and substance use issues. Located in Shippensburg, PA., our 112-bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17.

RN Role/Responsibilities:
Registered Nurses will work on our Adolescent or Adult Mental Health Units and Substance Use Disorder Unit

* The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care on a designated unit in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Roxbury Treatment Center.

* The Registered Nurse prescribes, coordinates and delegates nursing care

* The Registered Nurse completes nursing assessments and documents care and progress of the patient each shift

* The Registered Nurse facilitates medication administration activities in accordance with safe medication practices , including patient education

* The Registered Nurse responds to all crisis/emergency events to direct staff and ensure patient safety

* Attends Treatment Team to aid in the development of patient care plans

* Oversees and directs the mental health technicians in patient care activities

* The Registered Nurse is accountable for assigned nursing care activities on a shift basis and is responsible for promoting and enhancing professional nursing practice on the unit under the direction of the Nurse Manager or DON.

* The Registered Nurse may also assume Charge Nurse Responsibilities as required.
