Night Shift, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in the Medical Intensive Care Unit

Position: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Shift: Night shift 7p-7am includes weekend rotation. $7/hour night shift differential.

Position:

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Medical ICU

Shift:

Part Time, 24 hours/week. Night shift 7p-7am includes weekend and holiday rotation.

Experience:

• 2 years’ as NP or PA experience preferred in critical care or related area

Education:

• Completion of a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program required.
• MSN or Masters of Science required.

Licensures/

Certifications:

• Licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing Examiners as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner or licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Medical Education and Licensure.
• Certification by the NCCPA (National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants) or the CRNP qualification.
• Provider BLS (American Heart Association/American Red Cross) required.
• ACLS certification required.
• May require PALS (pediatric advanced life support).
• Successful completion of the MLH credentialing process through the Medical Staff office, with temporary or permanent privileges approved.

This position requires you to wear a respirator as part of the job requirement.
