RN Supervisor

Laurel Square Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is an 87 bed long term care facility located in Philadelphia, PA. We are currently seeking a qualified RN Supervisor for day shift to join our team, working on the acute and long term care unit. This position will be Monday to Friday.

This position supervises, provides and coordinates nursing care in compliance with facility policies and procedures to assess residents' care needs under the direction of the DON.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of approved nursing program.
• Licensed in the State of PA to practice nursing.
• Familiarity with Federal, State, and local long term care requirements.
• Two years professional nursing experience.
• Demonstrated competence in leadership, effective communication, and problem solving skills.
• Ability to perform functions as itemized in physical and environmental requirements of the job.
• Take appropriate action to assure adequate staffing to provide resident care.
• Supervise and assess resident care and take appropriate action.
• Implement facility procedures to provide resident care.
