To plan, develop and manage a comprehensive program for the overall cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of planned and major gift prospects.
ResponsibilitiesBachelor's degree required.
- Highly motivated and achievement-oriented;
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal skills.
- Some knowledge of tax laws and deferred giving strategies desired.
- Ability to confidently and authentically establish and build relationships with individuals is mandatory.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, to work well in a fast-paced work environment, and to be flexible. Collegiality and a sense of humor are important.
- Ability to work some evenings and weekends as needed for events.
- Highly developed sense of work ethic and integrity.
Minimum of one to two year of progressively responsible funding-raising experience or general experience in institutional advancement, with demonstrated success in closing major gifts.
