What does the Public Relations & Marketing Specialist do?The purpose of this position is to manage all aspects of public and media relations, marketing, advertising, and a majority of the customer-facing, transit user information efforts for the Authority. This includes the Authority's web-based and social media presence.

- Strong written and organizational skills.
- Working knowledge of computer applications, including Microsoft Office programs and advanced desktop publishing programs such as Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
- Working knowledge of the Word Press platform.
- Ability to quickly learn other computer applications and programs.
- Familiar with Virtual Public Involvement (VPI) strategies.
- Ability to work as part of a team.

The starting salary is $53,182, or commensurate with experience
.
