We operate through:

  • Hack Summits: flagship global summits bringing founders, investors, and operators into the same room.
  • Media: weekly newsletters reaching 30,000+ engaged readers.
  • Selective local activations across 30+ countries.
About the Role

Reports To: CEO

Ensure that Hack Summit speakers and sponsors are fully prepared, well‑positioned, and meaningfully connected, before, during, and after the event.

Your Mission
  • Speaker Preparation & Readiness: Act as the primary point of contact for speakers once confirmed.
    • Collect and manage speaker assets: bio, headshot, talk description, key themes and positioning.
    • Share clear, timely information on agenda, formats, on‑site logistics, and expectations.
    • Ensure speakers feel informed, confident, and ready to show up at their best.
  • Speaker Goal Mapping & Opportunity Matching:
    • Proactively understand each speaker’s purpose for joining Hack Summit—fundraising, partnerships, customer leads, hiring, visibility.
    • Translate those goals into concrete on‑site opportunities, such as introductions to corporates, connections with investors, media opportunities, curated encounters with relevant peers.
    • Relay speaker needs clearly to events, editorial & social, sales & partnerships.
  • Sponsor Experience & Opportunity Activation:
    • Act as a proactive relationship manager for sponsors post‑signature: understand objectives, brand visibility, deal flow, partnership recruitment.
    • Coordinate with the team to connect sponsors with relevant speakers, founders, or corporates and ensure visibility opportunities are used effectively.
    • Be present on‑site to facilitate high‑value introductions.
  • Media Exposure & External Visibility:
    • Identify relevant media outlets and journalists aligned with Hack Summit topics.
    • Coordinate with Editorial to flag strong speaker stories and facilitate introductions when relevant.
    • Support speakers and sponsors in gaining additional exposure beyond the stage.
    • Ensure media interactions are intentional and well‑prepared.
  • Internal Coordination & On‑Site Presence:
    • Act as the internal relay between speakers/sponsors, Events team, Editorial & Social, Sales & Partnerships.
    • Ensure the right people are in the room for key moments.
    • Flag issues early and resolve them calmly.
    • Capture insights and feedback post‑event.
Requirements

  • Comfortable working with senior profiles (founders, investors, executives).
  • Previous PR or relationship manager experience required.
  • Deep understanding of Hard Tech and Deep Tech space.
  • Strong sense of preparation, anticipation, and follow‑through.
  • Able to connect dots quickly and act proactively.

  • The opportunity to work directly with leadership and interact with founders and investors shaping the hard tech & climate space.
  • Competitive compensation for a Swiss‑SME, adjusted to the candidate’s local market.
  • Remote‑first work setup with travel to our Summits in Switzerland, the US, and beyond.
