Role
Summary:
The Marketing & Sales Assistant will support Little Leaf Farms’ marketing and sales teams on a variety of projects supporting consumer and customer relations. Our ideal candidate has strong written and verbal communication skills, is highly organized and reliable, and willing to support the marketing and sales functions at a fast-growing CPG brand in the fresh produce space.
- Respond to incoming consumer messages via phone, email, text, and social channels in a timely and professional manner; ensure issues are escalated to appropriate teams and requests for coupons are fulfilled.
- Sample Fulfillment:
- Manage sample area
- Purchase and keep inventory of all associated packaging and marketing supplies
- Coordinate with Sales Ops and Marketing teams to fulfill sample requests
- Support marketing team in fulfillment of all branded items for customers, consumers, influencers, and media.
- Manage inventory of materials for events (trade shows and consumer-facing), online retail store, and branded items for consumers and employees. Support cross-functional teams with branded items as-requested.
- As needed, serve as a brand ambassador for Little Leaf Farms at trade shows, sampling events, and consumer-facing events.
- Support marketing and sales teams on internal event planning.
- Support marketing and sales teams on additional administrative tasks as needed.
- This role will be hybrid-onsite in McAdoo, PA 2-3 days per week.
- 1–2 years of experience in marketing, sales support, or administrative roles (CPG or food industry experience is a plus).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Copilot).
- Familiarity with CRM systems (such as Zendesk, Sprout Social) and social media platforms.
- Ability to manage inventory systems and basic data entry.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional phone and email etiquette.
- Ability to respond promptly and effectively to consumer inquiries.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift and move sample boxes and event materials (up to 40 lbs).
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel occasionally for trade shows and events. (20% or less)
- Occasional nights and weekends required (5%).
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Customer service oriented attitude - friendly, approachable, and committed to delivering excellent consumer experiences.
- Ability to problem solve, troubleshoot issues, and escalate appropriately.
- Collaborative and willing to support cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable working in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.
- Passion for fresh produce and sustainability.
- Prior experience assisting at trade shows or consumer events.
- Interest in marketing initiatives and brand representation.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus.
$50,000-$55,000 base commensurate with experience
