Assembler Coordinator

Location: Jonestown

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

* Primary duty is to assist supervisor to meet department goals as outlined by the supervisor, coordinate workforce and workflow within assigned department (s).

* Performs a variety of semiskilled manual duties requiring knowledge of techniques, tools, equipment, safety precautions, WPO and Quality programs.

* Adheres to and enforces the general safety plan.

* Plans and organizes work assignments, completes reports and paperwork as assigned.

* Trains and coaches new and existing associates, monitors individual and team productivity.

* Ensures work is performed at a quality level consistent with Wabash standard practice.

* Good attendance is critical.

* Must be willing and able to work overtime.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Must have good written and verbal communication skills.

* Must have ability to exercise independent judgment.

* High School degree or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred for this position.

* Demonstrated good people skills required.

* Must be a team player.

* Demonstrated leadership skills.

* Must possess general working knowledge of department tools, techniques and processes.

* Must have ability to learn and run required computer applications.

* Must possess required math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

* Must have ability to understand and apply engineering specifications, Change Orders, Production Orders and Standard Operating Procedures.

* Good problem-solving skills required.

* Excellent attendance record required.

* Must be willing and able to work overtime.

* Valid driver's license required

* May be required to assist supervisor with job assignments, attendance tracking, conducting meetings, etc. Other supervisory duties may apply.
