Job Description

Starting Wage $22.31 .

5 Days per Week

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

* Operate and monitor bagging equipment

* Notify lead person of any irregularities in equipment or product

* Perform quality control checks as required

* Complete scanning to the inventory management system

* Assist co-worker to maintain a smooth flow of packaged product

* Check for accurate product coding and labeling

* Maintain accurate and orderly production logs

* Maintain a safe and clean work area

* Assist in other production areas as required

* Palletize (stack) finished whey products as per procedures

* Perform forklift safety check before operating forklift and inform supervisor of machine defects

* Operate forklift in a safe manner

* Enter production data into SAP inventory system

* Assist in training of new personnel

* Minimize water usage and the generation of wastewater within the scope of the position

* Follow all DFA GMP's and work in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory quality and sanitation requirements

* Must adhere to all safety policies and procedures

Education and Experience

* High School Diploma or GED Preferred

* Certified in Forklift Operation

Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities

* Ability to use commercial English, grammar and arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, including decimals and fractions

* Previous forklift experience preferred

* Must be able to read, write and speak English
