At Intervala, we combine advanced technology, engineering expertise, and a collaborative culture to ensure reliability, flexibility, and exceptional customer service.
Do you have an eagle eye for the smallest details? Are you fascinated by circuit boards and tech that powers today's world? Intervala is looking for a sharp, focused, and quality-driven AOI Operator to be the gatekeeper of precision on our SMT line.
What You'll Be Doing:
As an AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) Operator, you'll be the quality control detective, inspecting printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) to make sure they meet customer requirements and workmanship standards.
Your role is essential to ensuring that our products are as flawless as the technology they support.
You will:
- Review AOI output to assess PCBA quality
- Spot recurring manufacturing defects and collaborate with the SMT Operator, Production Coordinator, and Process Engineer to resolve them
- Catch false calls and help fine-tune AOI programs
- Log defects in the MES system with precision
- Recommend documentation improvements for better quality outcomes
- Continue developing your inspection and AOI skills through hands-on training
- Assist with x-ray inspection as needed
- An eye for detail - you can spot what others might miss
- Solid visual inspection skills
- Intermediate computer skills and comfort working with data
- Patience and focus for detailed, repetitive tasks
- Basic understanding of electronic components
- Strong communication and decision-making skills
- Willingness to grow - IPC-610 certification required within 3-6 months (we'll support you!)
- 1+ year in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working with SMT lines or inspection equipment
- High School Diploma or GED required
• Competitive pay and great benefits-medical, dental, 401(k), and paid time off
• Be part of a company that's growing, changing, and full of new opportunities
• A supportive, team-focused culture where your ideas matter
• Meaningful work that impacts industries making a difference in the world
