Crate Builders

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Crate Builder to join their team. As a Crate Builder, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical problem-solving skills, the ability to work safely with hand tools, and a quick learning ability which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Crate Builder

Location: Burgettstown, PA

Pay Range: $17.50/hr

What's the Job?

• Assemble crates and pack parts orders using hand tools such as drills, saws, punches, and pneumatic tools.
• Ensure that all products built meet the highest quality standards.
• Correctly pack crates once they are built.
• Cut and prepare wood for other areas as needed.
• Train other personnel if required.

What's Needed?

• 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment working with manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• General math skills are essential.
• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work in a safe manner and adapt to different jobs as needed.
