Production Assembler- 1st Shift

Overview

Production Assembler- 1st Shift (Manufacturing) At Magnetic Specialties, we build custom transformers and other magnetic devices for our customers. As a small but busy shop, our Production Assemblers are a key part of the team, essentially putting pieces together to solve a life-sized customer-product puzzle. It takes attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions, and once you get the hang of it, it’ll be consistent and predictable work.

• Read and understand customer prints to assemble products
• Use various hand and power tools
• Pick parts and move products using a crane or forklift (training provided)
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Follow work instructions and complete all customer labeling/packaging requirements
• Work efficiently while ensuring company quality standards are maintained

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred
• Machine operating or manufacturing experience required
• Willingness to learn and follow instruction
• Team-oriented, reliable, safety-minded individual
• Ability to lift, bend, reach, and stand daily
• Prior soldering, simple welding, or fabrication experience is a plus, but training is available
