Our Cleaning Specialists take pride in ensuring our office and manufacturing spaces are looking their best. This is a full‑time, second‑shift position working as a member of the Penn United Maintenance Team to perform a range of daily, routing tasks to maintain the cleanliness of the buildings and ensure office and manufacturing spaces are a comfortable environment and looking their best.

Penn United Technologies currently employs over 650 people in our employee‑owned precision manufacturing company, located about 35 miles northeast of Pittsburgh in Butler County.

• Perform daily and routine cleaning of buildings
• Dust, vacuum, mop and sanitize all surfaces and fixtures
• Restock supplies and notify Team Leader of any needed supplies or repairs
• Empty trash and garbage containers
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist with maintaining building security and answer doors and telephones after hours
• Maintain confidentiality of corporation documents and information

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Excellent time management skills and capable of meeting project deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning instructions
• Able to work independently and cooperatively with teams
• Physically able to bend, lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Able to be on feet and walk for extent of the shift
• Able to communicate effectively with all levels
• Must be able to work second shift (Monday - Thursday 3:00 pm - 12:30 am and Friday 2:30 pm - 6:30 pm)
• Desired:
  Experience in facility cleaning operations, procedures and equipment
• Desired:
  Experience in a manufacturing setting
