Position
* Experience with cleaning Industrial Equipment preferred
- Ensure that all cleaning schedules and tasks are completed on time and maintained according to company standard operating procedures.
- Use only appropriately approved chemicals safely to clean equipment.
- Ensure that all cleaning and sanitization equipment is used correctly and only on designated areas.
- Cleaning work to encompass sweeping, mopping floors, sanitizing machinery, cleaning of conveyors, surface areas and other areas deemed appropriate.
- First stage inspection of processing equipment for conformity to federal and state sanitation laws and plant standards.
- Inspects premises for unsanitary practices and conditions.
- Work with management and production personnel on sanitation problems, and recommend changes in equipment, plant layout, lighting, ventilation, or work practices to improve sanitation standards and purity of product.
- Complete required paperwork and reports regarding regular inspections, sanitation violations, and steps taken to resolve deficiencies. Routes reports to designated plant personnel.
Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
