Night in This RoleArrive at our Mars, PA facility just before 11:30 PM. You’ll check materials, ready equipment, and make sure packaging supplies and labels are set. Through the night, you’ll watch automated lines for jams, keep conveyors clear, carefully inspect plastic bottles for flaws like holes, surface lines, or water spots, and pack approved bottles into grouped boxes secured with twine. You’ll operate the bagger when needed, label finished goods with the correct date and shift color code, and record production counts so the next team starts strong.
If a machine hiccups or bottles don’t meet spec, you’ll alert your supervisor right away. As the shift winds down at 7:40 AM, you’ll help with inventory checks and tidy records so production keeps flowing.
Schedule: On site in Mars, PA | Monday–Friday | 11:30 PM–7:40 AM
Pay: $21/hr
Responsibilities- Lift and move bundles of corrugated bulk containers filled with plastic bottles; assemble into grouped boxes and tie off with twine.
- Inspect bottles for defects (holes, surface lines, water spots) and pack only approved product.
- Monitor automated equipment and intervene to prevent jams; keep conveyors free of excess bottles.
- Notify the supervisor about defective bottles or equipment malfunctions without delay.
- Operate the bagger machine as required.
- Call out for additional raw materials when needed to keep lines running.
- Track bottle counts for each shift and complete routine record-keeping.
- Apply accurate labels with date and shift designated color-coding.
- Support departmental inventory activities.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, constantly changing production environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Commitment to safe work practices.
- Ability to work in a chemical environment (bleach, ammonia).
