In this role, you will:

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machining centers (mills and/or lathes)
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical work instructions
• Edit G-code at the machine and assist with CNC programming as needed
• Run production jobs including complex geometries
• Meet setup and run time expectations while maintaining quality standards
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections
• Machine both thermoplastic and metal materials
• Maintain setup sheets and shop floor documentation
• Perform basic machine maintenance
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives

This is a hands-on machining role requiring both production consistency and technical capability.

Programming & Controls:

• G-code editing and troubleshooting at the machine

Inspection Equipment:

• QMM (Vision Measurement Systems)
• OGP systems
• Optical comparators
• Standard precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of CNC machining experience
• Strong G-code knowledge (mills and lathes)
• Ability to independently read blueprints and technical documents
• Experience with precision inspection equipment
• Ability to operate multiple machines
• Comfortable working with minimal supervision
• Detail-oriented and safety-focused

Preferred:

• Experience assisting with CNC programming
• Experience machining complex geometries
• Experience in regulated or high-precision manufacturing environments
