Inventory Control Specialist

Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 7:00am - 3:30pm

Compensation: $20-$30 per hour, based on skills and experience.
About the Role

The Inventory Control Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining accurate, real-time inventory records across raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), packaging, and finished goods

This position ensures production continuity, audit readiness, and financial accuracy by executing disciplined inventory controls, cycle counts, and system transactions-while partnering closely with Operations, QA, Finance, and Supply Chain
What You'll Do
Inventory Accuracy & Control

• Maintain accurate inventory records across all material categories
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies using root cause analysis
• Ensure full lot traceability and inventory integrity

Cycle Counting & Audits

• Execute daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts
• Reconcile and communicate variances to leadership
• Support internal and external audits

Production & Receiving Support

• Issue and allocate materials to work orders in real time
• Accurately receive purchase orders and intercompany transfers
• Coordinate with QA on inspection holds and material releases

Continuous Improvement

• Follow SOPs and GMP standards
• Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency

What You Bring

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of inventory control or warehouse experience
• ERP or inventory system experience
• Exceptional attention to detail

Preferred:

• Food manufacturing or SQF/GMP experience
• Audit support experience
• Associate degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field

• Zero unresolved discrepancies
• On-time cycle counts and transactions
• Strong audit performance with no inventory-related findings

Work Environment

• On-site at House of Bricks - Wilkes-Barre, PA
• Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm (overtime as needed)
• Warehouse and refrigerated production environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely in PPE
