The Company:

IGE Performance Chemicals (IGE) is an international industrial group conducting business for the past 35 years from our global headquarters in Mineola, New York. We specialize in the research, design and development of specialized chemicals and components for the Aerospace, Defense and Semiconductor industries.

The Position:

The Plant Operator will work full time in IGE’s manufacturing and distribution facility in Mountain Top, Pennsylvania. The Chemical Plant Operator is needed to assist in running our chemical manufacturing processes. The Operator will be responsible for screening, blending, grinding and packaging of chemicals.

Responsibilities

· Read and follow written batch instructions

· Fill out and maintain batch records

· Move and transfer material from bags, drums and supersacks into processing equipment

· Package, label and prepare finished products for shipment to customers

· Clean and perform routine maintenance on manufacturing and processing equipment

· Maintain a clean and organized Plant facility

Qualifications:

· High school diploma required;
At least 1-3 years of experience working in a manufacturing plant. Chemical processing preferred

· Experience in reading and understanding instructions

· Prior similar work experience preferred

· General understanding of plant environment

· Well organized and time efficient; communicates effectively

From $20.00 per hour
