Combined Systems, Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with a strong background in production machine maintenance, along with general facility maintenance skills. This position supports manufacturing operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment while also assisting with plant and building maintenance as needed. The ideal candidate has experience working on production machinery, foundational electrical/wiring knowledge, and hands-on exposure to pneumatics and hydraulics, while remaining flexible enough to handle general maintenance tasks throughout the facility.
Machine& Production Equipment Maintenance
- Perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on production machinery
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
- Read and interpret basic wiring diagrams, schematics, and manuals
- Perform machine adjustments and minor modifications to support production needs
- Assist with installation, start-up, and relocation of production equipment
- Coordinate with engineering and supervision on equipment issues and improvements
- Perform basic electrical work including troubleshooting sensors, switches, motors, and controls
- Work with pneumatic and hydraulic systems, including cylinders, valves, hoses, and regulators
- Identify and replace faulty components safely and efficiently
- Perform general building and facility maintenance (lighting, doors, fixtures, basic carpentry, etc.)
- Assist with plumbing, HVAC support, and other facility-related repairs as assigned
- Maintain a clean and organized maintenance work area
- Follow preventive maintenance schedules and document completed work
- Follow lockout/tagout and all safety procedures
- Comply with company policies, OSHA guidelines, and ITAR requirements
- Report safety hazards, equipment concerns, or operational issues promptly
- Previous experience working on production or manufacturing machinery
- Working knowledge of:
- Mechanical systems
- Basic electrical wiring and troubleshooting
- Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues independently
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Manufacturing or industrial maintenance background
- Experience in a regulated or industrial environment
- Vocational training, technical certification, or related trade schooling
- Basic welding or fabrication experience (a plus)
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance
- Ability to work in industrial environments with noise, dust, and varying temperatures
- Monday – Thursday 5am to 3:30pm
- Overtime as needed based on production demands
