Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to produce precision parts that meet engineering drawings and specifications. This role requires strong technical skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts per specifications.

  • Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and work-holding devices.

  • Monitor operations and make adjustments to maintain quality and consistency.

  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.

  • Perform routine machine maintenance and document completed tasks.

  • Troubleshoot CNC equipment issues to minimize downtime.

  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize processes.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

  • Follow all safety regulations and participate in regular safety training.

  • Cross-train in other manufacturing processes as needed.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required; CNC machining certification preferred.

  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or CNC Operator.

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

  • Knowledge of CNC programming, G-code, and CAM software.

  • Familiarity with a variety of CNC machines and controls.

  • Skilled in using precision measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, gauges).

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.

  • Safety-conscious and quality-driven mindset.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to bend, lift, and push up to 50 lbs.

  • Frequent standing, walking, and reaching.

  • Occasional exposure to temperature changes and loud noise.

  • Must comply with PPE requirements at all times.
