Overview

Order Packer — TUSK Molding is hiring an order Packer to support our plastics molding process. Experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated individuals who demonstrate a strong work ethic and the ability to learn quickly. The purpose of the Packer position is to ensure that all parts finished by the Trimming department are cleaned and used to accurately configure purchased products in boxes ready for shipment within scheduled time of arrival.

5:00am to 3:30pm Monday to Thursday with occasional Fridays as production volumes demand. To support production demands during peak season, team members who are flexible between 1st and 2nd shift are highly valued.

• Follow work instructions as assigned by management to ensure orders ship timely and accurately
• Ensures the accurate completion of daily production paperwork
• Ensures all orders meet quality standards ahead of packaging for shipment while supporting reduction in product waste
• Ensures all parts are cleaned and polished prior to packing for customer shipment
• Maintains knowledge of all parts and hardware used for accurate product assembly
• Safely and effectively packages product into boxes while ensuring accurate labeling for shipping
• Safely and efficiently use equipment and tools to perform work
• Maintains the organization and cleanliness of the working environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven ability to communicate and identify complex problems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards
• Knowledge of forklift operation and basic power tools
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, and attention to detail
• Proven ability to read, write, work with simple arithmetic, and understand basic verbal and written instructions

• Plant environment with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels
• Office environment with standard climate control
• Requires occasional stooping, bending, stretching, and standing for extended periods
• Lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally lifting up to 70 pounds
