• Troubleshoot machine issues, minor hydraulic and electrical problems
• Ability to discern molding issues from machinery or process issues
• Record accurate production data necessary for tracking purposes
• Develop corrective actions for machine/molding issues
• Track downtime, quality performance and machine efficiency
• Train personnel to improve technical capabilities and experience
• Evaluate the quality of product form newly set‑up machines
• Monitor production process
• Respond to reported machine/mold issues
• Start‑up and shut‑down molding machines as necessary
• Follow mold change procedures
• Perform mold changes and color changes in a proficient manner
• Communicate all changes and all important information to the Manager or Supervisor
• Ensure all system performances are optimized and running safely
• Work with/relieve assembly line operators as needed to meet production requirements
• Follow and enforce all Environment, Health and Safety, ISO, Food Safety and cGMP policies and procedures

• Must be familiar with operation and set‑up of Injection Molding machines, robots, manufacturing software and processing systems
• Be mechanically and electrically inclined
