Context

AKH Knitting & Dyeing Ltd is a knit‑composite export‑oriented company. We are looking for an experienced GM—Dyeing/Head of Fabrics.

Job Responsibilities
  • The GM Dyeing/Fabric Head will be responsible for the planning & implementation of all activities of the Fabrics Division.
  • Responsible for overall fabrics & dyeing production, decision making & quality control.
  • Increasing efficiency, productivity, maximum utilisation of manpower, machine & time, optimising material use, proper administration & supervision of the sub‑commands.
  • Improving profitability by identifying cost‑reduction opportunities through integrated planning, information and analysis.
  • Develop and implement SOP/policy to avoid machine breakdown and ensure maximum utilisation of manpower, machines and materials.
  • Optimise the dyeing process by establishing Sedomaster and Orgatex Software to reduce dependency on operators and ensure quality of the products as per buyers’ standard.
  • Follow up & guide the R&D team of the Fabric Division and the RFT Team.
  • Responsible for dyeing production, finishing, planning, monitoring of product and process, establishing and maintaining identification and traceability requirements.
  • Ensure finished fabrics support the Garments Division as per garments line‑plan.
  • Supervise, monitor, oversee and ensure the overall functions of the Fabric Division.
  • Ensure gray fabrics quality at knitting stage and deliver to the dyeing section in time.
  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality‑related issues and implement corrective action.
  • Ensure that compliance requirements regarding social, technical, environmental and RSC safety issues are in practice in all areas of the Fabric Division.
  • Plan and arrange various types of training programmes such as process development, quality management, chemical safety etc. for concerned employees of the factory.
