Day Shift

Hours:

M onday to Friday 7:00am 3:30pm

• Utility Staff are responsible for operating and maintaining the hydraulic and/or mechanical p ress equipment, industrial saws, and other fabrication machinery as needed.
• Operate equipment in accordance with the work order.
• Select the proper template and materials for the work order.
• Assist the department foreman in meeting production targets.
• Assist in other departments when downtime occurs.
• Maintain quality standards.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Notify managers concerning any non-conformities and the need for repairs to the facility or equipment.
• Maintain a healthy and safe working environment.

• Candidates must be able to read a tape measure quickly and accurately in order to keep scrap at a minimum.
• Have exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong focus on safety and quality; team player mentality a must.
• Have ability to apply computer software skills, ability to learn applications quickly.
• Have good working knowledge of figures and numbers.
• Be able to work quickly and efficiently.
• Be able to lift and carry heavy objects (over 50 pounds).
