JOB DESCRIPTION Polishers use handheld power tools to correct defects, smooth, and prepare metal surfaces. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES Set-up and operate polishing equipment Maintain buffing materials and equipment—including buffers, finishing wheels, and finishing machines Assemble products to determine buffing areas and ensure pieces fit together after finishing Maintain a safe working environment by conducting inspections on equipment; following instructions on work order; and examining completed product Conduct minor repairs when necessary SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS Demonstrated understanding of equipment needed for job—including wheels used for buffing and polishing Basic mathematical knowledge Able to keep work area clean and well organized

Experience with a wide variety of stainless steel alloys Able to interpret blueprints or work order instructions Suitable manual dexterity for manipulating equipment on a variety of parts Self-motivated team player with the ability to think creatively EDUCATIONAL/PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS High School Diploma Must be able to complete and pass a physical assessment Must be able to perform all essential functions of the job with or without accommodation Must be able to hear emergency communications and alarms Exposure to moving machinery, dust, dirt, grease or other disagreeable elements Everyday repetitive wrist, hand or finger movement, involving gripping and wrist torquing Everyday standing, walking, bending, crouching, and stooping Everyday lifting 25-50 lbs R-V Industries, Inc.
