Overview

Purpose:
Perform the assembly activities of ASI Drives.
- Produce drives in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Assemble components
- Operate tools and equipment to assemble and test drive systems
- Notify Line Leader and Shop Supervisor of problems
- Ensure proper labeling and storage of parts.
- Pull, as necessary, inventory for Assembly activities.
- Perform cycle counting activities.
- Report shortages to Line Leader / Shop Supervisor.
- Consolidation and disposal of trash and cardboard from the shop.
- Ensure adequate tools and receptacles are available for housekeeping, notify the Shop Supervisor if items are needed.
- Disassemble and repair returns as directed.
- Document parts and time required for each job.
- High School Graduate or Equivalent preferred
- Ability to read drawings or blueprints – a Plus
- Able to effectively communicate with other members of the organization
- Lift 50 pounds
- No physical limitations
