Position ObjectiveFollow established quality guidelines to produce a product that meet criteria.
Qualifications- Packer experience preferred
- High school diploma/GED
- Operator experience
- Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
- Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
- Ability to verify if product is of quality to pack.
- Assist extrusion operator
- Start up.
- Adjust core alignment
- Blade adjustments
- Popping trim
- Wrap up removal pressure roll
- Pack finish goods to correct procedure
- Wrap up removal idle rollers
- Packing material over 5’
- Hand tools
- Machine knowledge
- Boxing, accounting and weighing of scrap
- Must have regular, reliable attendance, and willing to work outside regular schedule as required.
- Willing to handle job stress and interact with others in the workplace.
- Manufacturing Environment
- Ability to work in varying temperatures (cold and hot)
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and repetitive action of lifting and bending
- Able to stand up for up to 12 hrs. and work 12 hrs. rotating schedule
- Must wear steel toe shoes and appropriate PPE on production floor all times
- No shorts, jewelry and loose hanging clothes allowed.
