Industrial Painters perform many tasks to accomplish their primary goal of painting and coating surfaces.

• Clean and Prepare Surfaces

  Remove previous finishes, clean and smooth the surface, and let it dry before painting.
• Prepare Paints
  :
  Prepare the paint using measurement equipment and mix the appropriate compounds for the job.
• Apply Paint
  :
  Use various techniques and tools to paint surfaces, including spray equipment, airbrushes, stencils, rollers, or brushes.
• Clean Work Areas
  :
  Clean up the area after finishing a job and follow guidelines for the safe handling and disposal of hazardous chemicals and waste.
• Maintain Equipment
  :
  Maintain and troubleshoot painting equipment.
• Conditions Monitoring and Quality Reporting
  :
  Monitor conditions, document for turnover packages, and perform millage testing.

• Detail-oriented and dependable
  , with the ability to follow instructions and consistently produce good work.

  Experience in industrial equipment painting, wet painting, blasting, and understanding of N.A.C.E requirements.

  Ability to gauge millage application, differentiate between colors, work on multiple priorities, use hand and power tools, and communicate effectively.
