Line Tech/Powder Coater
RGS Products, Inc., a full‑service architectural metals and glass fabrication company in Northwestern Pennsylvania, is hiring an entry‑level Line Tech/Powder Coater. Base pay: $16.00/hr – $18.00/hr.
Schedule
Day shift, Monday‑Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm (overtime as needed).

About the Job
The Line Tech/Powder Coater will coat materials as required by production and shipping schedules. When the line is idle, they will prepare material for shipping, load trucks, and assist with various fabrication duties.
Responsibilities
- Select the appropriate powder coating material and color based on job requirements.
- Operate powder coating equipment, such as spray guns, to apply the powder coating evenly and consistently.
- Ensure the powder coating meets quality standards, such as thickness, coverage, and uniformity.
- Inspect finished work pieces for defects, such as runs, sags, or uneven coating, and make necessary touch‑ups.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines for handling and storing powder, and operating equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and well‑organized work area, including equipment and tools.
- Keep records of production activities, such as powder usage.
- Hang material on the line.
- Unload materials from the line and prepare them for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks for shipping.
- Other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Skills
- Follow production schedules and deadlines.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify QC issues.
- Safety awareness.
- Work effectively as part of a team.
- Can read a tape measure.
- Forklift operation experience is a plus.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Previous powder coating or painting experience preferred but not required.
