Part Time - Parts Finishing​/Packaging

Overview

Perfect position for a Retiree or Student looking to fill some time in your day. This is a part-time Parts Finishing/Packaging role to help us get orders out the door faster. The position is flexible and you can work as much or as little as you want. We can work around your schedule during our business hours:
Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM and Friday 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM. This is also a great opportunity for any college/trade school student in the process of earning a machining trade certificate.

• Prepare finished product for shipment for LTL truck, UPS, and Fed Ex. Count and neatly place in shipping boxes.
• Secure product on pallets by stretch wrap.
• Operate vibratory finishing equipment and use various types of deburring tools and grinding equipment including scrapers, dremels, scotch brite, and other hand tools to remove burrs.
• Complete routine maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Tidy the shop and perform custodial tasks when needed.

• Must be 18 or older and able to stand for periods of time.
• Ability to use and operate hand or power tools and finishing tools.
• Team player with a great attitude who can work well with others and be able to take correction. We are a small company that strives for a pleasant work environment for all.
• Must be able to pass a drug and background check.

This part-time position will pay $15/hour. We are a friendly, family-owned business and like to think our atmosphere reflects this. Our employees work closely together, making it an excellent place to continue your skillset in the manufacturing industry.
