TE Connectivity operates a 254,000 square foot campus located in Jonestown, PA with 124,000 sq ft dedicated to production. The Lickdale manufacturing facility has over 450 employees and supports products for our appliances business unit including but not limited to terminals & splices, magnet wires and Rast Connectors. TE Connectivity's Plating Teams operate assigned automated plating machinery, ensure component flow, troubleshoot and correct machinery issues to ensure quality and productivity. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

3rd Shift: Sunday through Friday morning working 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.

Shift Differential: 10%

• Collecting and analyzing data related to the plated parts and materials and documenting required paperwork and procedures followed in the plating process.
• Ensuring that the plating baths have been mixed with proper levels of appropriate chemicals, setting up the required plating processes, and performing changeovers.
• Identifying product quality improvements by evaluating the finished, unfinished products, and components.
• Verifying the conformance to the specifications, measuring the thickness of electroplating using the X-rays and micrometer, and monitoring the level of electric current used in the process.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Operate and adjust plating lines.
• Perform quality checks of products and assure good product.
• Load and change reels.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Must possess the ability to coordinate and move product from one department to another.
• Operate pallet jacks and other material handling devices to move product and materials.

Education / Experience:

• REQUIRED:
  High School Diploma or GED
• High energy, self-motivated, attention to detail and willingness to learn and advance in a fast paced environment.
• Introductory experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Knowledge of plating processes and production lines is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 44 lbs safely & dependably.
• Must be able to carry a minimum weight of 44 lbs safely & dependably.
• Must be able to push a peak force of 80 lbs safely & dependably.
• Must be able to pull a peak force of 80 lbs safely & dependably.
• Frequent standing, walking, and balancing throughout the day is required in this job.
