Certified Welding Inspector – Newtown, PA

$30–$40/hr + OT + Full Benefits

A growing AISC‑certified steel fabrication shop is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector to support production and ensure all welds meet required codes and customer specifications. This is a full‑time, permanent role with steady hours and overtime available.

• Attend pre‑weld meetings and review drawings/specs.
• Observe fit‑up, welding, and post‑weld inspections.
• Verify WPS, PQR, and WPQ documentation.
• Produce clear inspection reports and identify non‑conformances.
• Collaborate with welders, fabrication teams, and QC/Production Managers.

• Experience in steel fabrication or a related industry.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong understanding of shop welding practices.
• Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (40 hrs); overtime paid at time‑and‑a‑half.
