Job OverviewDurable Surfaces LLC is seeking an experienced Field Superintendent – Concrete Repair to oversee multiple active job sites while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This leadership role requires deep expertise in concrete finishing, surface preparation, and restoration techniques, along with the ability to manage crews, coordinate logistics, and represent the company professionally on job sites nationwide.
The Field Superintendent will serve as the critical link between field operations, project management, and clients—driving accountability, safety, and craftsmanship across every project.

Key Responsibilities- Oversee and manage multiple job sites to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to company quality standards.
- Supervise and support Foremen and field crews by providing leadership, technical expertise, and problem-solving guidance.
- Coordinate scheduling, workforce allocation, subcontractors (if applicable), and material deliveries to maximize operational efficiency.
- Ensure proper execution of advanced concrete finishing techniques including grinding, polishing, resurfacing, coatings, and surface preparation.
- Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Serve as the primary liaison between field teams, Project Managers, and clients—providing updates and resolving jobsite concerns.
- Enforce OSHA safety standards and company policies to maintain safe and compliant job sites.
- Identify project risks or delays and implement proactive solutions.
- Train and mentor Foremen and crew members to promote skill development and continuous improvement.
- Maintain detailed documentation including progress reports, labor tracking, material usage, and site conditions.
- 5+ years of experience in concrete finishing, repair, or restoration, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role (or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience).
- In-depth knowledge of grinding, polishing, coatings, resurfacing systems, and advanced surface preparation techniques.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, finish specifications, and project plans.
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and the ability to enforce job site compliance.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively, including short-notice travel and overnight stays.
- Physical ability to oversee field operations, including standing for extended periods, lifting materials, and working in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Competitive salary: $100,000 – $110,000 per year

Full-Time Position
Schedule varies based on project demands, including nights, overnights, weekends, and occasional holidays as needed.
Hours may fluctuate depending on job site conditions and project timelines.
Work LocationPrimary shop location:
Bound Brook, New Jersey
Travel required to local and nationwide job sites for project oversight.
Extensive travel, including frequent overnight stays and extended time away from home.
