Overview
Job Description: The Project Manager (or Senior Project Manager) offers a qualified candidate the opportunity to lead and grow CTIS’s environmental remediation projects. This role is multi-faceted and includes a mix of in-office and on-site work. We expect this candidate to be able to bid, win, and execute projects at the highest level. You will be required to drive customer success and ensure successful delivery of critical environmental projects.
You will work closely with operations, sales, finance, and estimating teams. If you re a proactive leader with a strong ability to manage resources, oversee project scope, and maintain client relationships in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, this is the opportunity for you!
Primary Duties And Responsibilities / Essential Functions
- Cradle to grave project management of public and private projects
- Managing subcontractors, project contacts
- Develop proposals and work scopes
- Track budgets in Microsoft Excel
- Coordinate project logistics/deliverables
Ability to prepare project documentation: work plans, health and safety plans, submittals, progress reports, and close-out packages.
Develop contract structures in regards to lump-sum, time and materials, and unit rate projects
Manage support staff within CTIS
Support CTIS’s overall business operations.
Customer relationship management
Team leadership
Proactive problem solving
Health and safety oversight
Pre/post project evaluations
QualificationsMust Have:
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Minimum 5 years experience managing construction projects
- Minimum 3 years experience estimating construction projects
- Knowledge of state and federal environmental regulations
- Excellent verbal, written, communication, and computer skills
- Extensive traveling is mandatory as needed
This role may require extended hours to meet project deadlines, and additional flexibility in the event of an emergency on-site response.
The ability to wear and properly use a variety of Levels A, B, C and D personal protective equipment (PPE). This may include respirators, skin, face and foot protection in multiple combinations.
Work in various temperatures indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold while wearing various levels of PPE. Works in atmospheres and locations with the potential for exposure to various chemical and physical agents, some of which may be hazardous, toxic or corrosive.
A valid state issued driver 's license is required and a continuing condition of employment.
Requires speaking, listening to and understanding English
Candidates should be able to pass a criminal background check to work on secure governmental installations in the United States.
Candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
Candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment physical (Hazwoper physical including but not limited to: vision, blood pressure, spirometry, chest x-ray, lead blood levels, audiometry, physical examination)
Is A Plus:
- BS/MA within related fields is a plus
- PE, PG, or similar background is a plus
