LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller to join the leadership team in Chester County, PA. This is a key role responsible for overseeing all day-to-day accounting operations in a dynamic and fast-paced retail/eCommerce environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting knowledge, leadership experience, and a passion for process improvement and team development. CPA is required.
Industry experience MUST be retail or ecommerce. B2C experience needed.
- Lead and manage the accounting function with a large emphasis on Inventory Accounting (500K+ SKUs).
- Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP.
- Supervise and mentor a large accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal controls.
- Partner with the CFO to support strategic initiatives, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Maintain and enhance accounting systems and processes to support business growth and scalability.
- Manage external audits and coordinate with tax advisors and other external partners.
- CPA REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance;
Master’s degree a plus. - Minimum of 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles and GAAP.
- Experience in retail or E-Commerce and B2C.
- Proven ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
$180,000 - $190,000

- PTO is offered on an accrual basis
