We are seeking a Financial Center Manager to join our (Floating Central PA) team.

This position will float among the Central PA Group's Financial Centers, which include:
Georgetown, Intercourse, Mechanicsburg, New Holland, Strasburg, Willow Street, and York. Mileage reimbursement is included.

Responsibilities

BRANCH

HOURS:

  • Monday–Thursday: 8 am – 5 pm
  • Friday: 8 am – 6 pm
  • Saturday: 8 am – 12 pm (2–3 per month are required)

The Financial Center Manager is a vital part of Univest’s success. You’ll drive and supervise daily operations of the branch to keep customer service running smoothly while promoting security and profitability. You’ll be responsible for ensuring branch and individual goals are met; day‑to‑day customer service; compliance with established policies and procedures; security; human resource management; and more.

You’ll step in to provide coaching and assistance whenever it’s needed and partner with other lines of business. You’ll also have business development responsibilities.

You’ll be a coach, leader, mentor and role model—leading your team to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and providing friendly, helpful solutions to their financial challenges.

  • Develop a strong knowledge of Univest’s consumer and commercial products and services
  • Motivate and coach staff to work as a team to achieve assigned goals
  • Develop and implement effective sales and acquisition strategies
  • Coach, evaluate and develop staff with a focus on career path and succession planning
  • Generate and maintain expected sales and performance goals
  • Monitor and maintain branch profitability
  • Identify and develop prospective leads for new business
  • Cultivate existing business relationships
  • Partner with other lines of business to formulate selling strategies for prospective and existing customers
  • Represent the bank in various civic and community functions
  • Expected to join and actively participate in at least one civic or non‑profit organization
  • Expect to periodically participate in bank‑sponsored events and community activities
  • Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations, including the Univest Code of Conduct
  • Perform additional duties as required
Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalency
  • NMLS registration within regulated guidelines
  • Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated independent decision‑making skills, effective delegation, and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated high performance in sales, customer service, business development, and leadership
  • Advanced knowledge of consumer and business lending and credit processes is preferred
  • Ability to work in an accurate and organized manner to manage related job pressures and deadlines
  • Previous experience with MS Office Suite
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Community or non‑profit involvement
Wage Range

The salary for this position starts at $78,000.00.
