Position Overview

The Sr Operations Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of a supply chain operation, providing overall direction and oversight in performance, safety, P&L management, customer relations, continuous improvement, and associate development across multiple sites.

Frackville, PA

Work Schedule

Monday‑Friday, Weekends as needed. Primarily 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.; off‑hour shift visits may be required.

Attractive annual salary of  100,000‑ 113,000 plus a performance‑based bonus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct the operations of distribution, packaging, and transportation to achieve company objectives and meet customer expectations.
  • Evaluate overall operations and develop short‑ and long‑term goals to meet organizational objectives.
  • Oversee all warehousing, distribution, packaging, and transportation operations to ensure company and customer requirements are met.
  • Focus on continuous improvement and make decisions about enhancing value, service, effectiveness, and profitability.
  • Direct and oversee programs to ensure safety of all associates, equipment, and property.
  • Ensure compliance with all company, customer, and government regulatory requirements.
  • Directly manage budget and P&L for operations.
  • Develop work plans ensuring appropriate staffing levels, managing labor costs, overtime and retention.
  • Maximize quality and productivity by understanding and mastering all job standards for each function, and evaluating performance variances to identify root cause, corrective action, and training needs.
  • Participate in the collection of performance measurements per customer, vendor, and/or site requirements.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports.
  • Deliver a consistent, high‑performance experience to our associates and customers.

Minimum Requirements
  • 5+ years of management experience and comprehensive knowledge in a high‑volume, fast‑paced 3PL, distribution, warehouse, and transportation environment.
  • P&L experience.
  • High‑volume e‑commerce experience.
  • Strong background in both inbound and outbound.
  • Critical thinking, problem‑solving, and reasoning skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse personalities and communication styles.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, databases, WMS, and other metrics measurement tools.
  • Strong presentation, writing, and speaking proficiency.
  • Experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen principles preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Experience with ADP platforms, including Work Force Now, Work Force Manager, ADPRM helpful.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the operation's needs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, or business‑related field preferred.
  • 3PL experience.
